Changemaking is sacred work. How we approach this works matters.
Relational change invites us to remember that we shape and are shaped by one another and this planet. It guides us to cultivate generative qualities in the present and foster pathways to more sustainable, loving, and liberated futures.
Sensing Systems is one of three workshops that explores the foundations of relational change. In Sensing Systems participants will learn to notice and name whole, living systems through experiential activities and peer-learning that prioritizes relationship in the quiet moments of social change.
Why is it vital that we see living systems around us every day? What is the connection between attuning to the small scale and generating transformation at the large scale? How do we acknowlege and tend to the relationships in our lives, work and communities?
In this session we will step beyond systems thinking to explore these questions through creative and reflective activites to embody and practice Sensing Systems. Together we will:
Develop our capacity to name and notice hidden relationships and connections
Expand or deepen our meaning of systems thinking or systems change
Integrate mind, body and spirit into our learning community
Find solidarity in the joys and challenges of social change with a cohort of compassionate and curious humans
Please bring. A journal, writing utensil and whatever you need to feel energized, hydrated, present and curious.
Breaks. This 2.5 hour virtual session will contain plenty of time and space for our bodies and brains to take breaks.
Registration is limited to 10. We limit the number of participants to enable intimacy and trust building.
Sliding scale for accessibility. We believe you have the best sense of your financial abilities. We trust that you’ll know how to best invest your money in consideration of our time, labor and community. We invite folks who are financially capable to pay higher rates, which supports greater access to this offering for others. If you need support placing yourself on the sliding scale, check out this helpful tool.
